I became very ill a couple of days after I got here and my husband was in Houston working. The owner called for my ambulance and stayed with me until they arrived. Then both owners came to check on me at the hospital, sent me a plant, talked with the hospital director because Christus Health Plan does not want to pay for anything AND helped get everything ready for my children to move me closer to them.
The Owners, Mike and Susan are absolutely, hands down, some of the best, if not the best people you will ever meet, Jax is awesome as well ;)
Husband has been staying in the park for over two years due to working in the area. Park has direct tv and wifi available along with 50 & 30 amp hook ups. The owners are very helpful if you need help with RV problems and keep various items in stock to help with minor repairs. They also have a propane filling station on site which is very convenient. Pets are allowed and when we visit my husband the neighborhood is safe and great for getting my evening walks in. HEB and Wal-Mart are close by along with several fast food chains.
If I needed anything, I just gave him a call, and he always either picked up, or called back a few minutes later.
The day I moved in, Mike was there to help, had issues with the lights on my 5th wheel, Mike was there to help. Had to move out earlier than anticipated, and one again, Mike was there to help me.
I look forward to a time when I can come back and stay longer. The people we met in the park were really great too. Thank you Southern Star!!
I will miss Southern Star RV Park in Pearsall, Texas. If you get a chance to visit, this park is great! Our RV park was destroyed by Harvey so we moved here. We have only been here less than a week but it has beautiful shade trees and great owners.
This is by far the best value for money RV park you will ever find.
We keep our travel trailer here.
Sewer conections are a little high but other than that very peacefull and nice
Wither you are planning on staying in Pearsall for a few days, or long term, check out Southern Star RV Park, trust me, you wont/cant beat it.
